Rev. Carmen Cook

Lead Pastor

Pastor Carmen joined us here at Auburn UMC in July of 2022. She has a passion for leading people to Christ and then helping to equip them for the journey of faith that the Lord has called them to. She believes that the Lord has a plan and purpose for each individual and that each person is of great worth. She strives to faithfully teach the Word of God, to love people, and to celebrate the goodness of the Lord in all of life. She also believes that the Lord has called us all to serve Him, regardless of age. So, don’t be surprised when you visit us and see our young people serving in the church next to our older saints. Everyone has a purpose! Pastor Carmen has a heartbeat for missions on the local, state, national, and international level. Joining her in ministry is her husband, their four legged child, a yellow lab, named Caesar, and her mother.

Adrenne Meyer

Youth Pastor

Adrenne Meyer became a member of our church in December of 2015. In 2024, she heard God's calling and filled the need for a Youth Pastor for our growing gaggle of youth. Adrenne enjoys spending time with the youth and watching them grow in their faith has helped her grow in her's. She has a passion for missions and volunteers with other organizations within the community. In her free time from her full-time job as an medical office, office manager, she also loves spending time with her husband and daughter in the great outdoors exploring Michigan and other states.

Jennifer Williams

Administrative Assistant & Treasurer

Jennifer has been with us since 2014 and knows all the ins and outs of the church. If you don't have an answer, she probably does, or knows where to find it. Jenn is married to her husband Chris, a teacher, and has 3 children and 2 grandchildren. She enjoys traveling, camping, crafting, being outside and is proud to be Grandma J to her 2 grandgirls.

Brennan Beechman

Pianist

Brennan has been amazing us with his musical talents since 2023. He is a loving father and husband and enjoys inspiring people through his music.

Melissa Massung

Custodial Professional

Melissa, her husband and 4 children are long time active members of AUMC. In 2024, when the need arose she stepped up to fill the custodial position. This was an easy step as she grew up helping her father clean at another UMC church. Melissa loves her family and spends her non-working hours with her family, friends, and the church.

The Advisory Team

We practice a simple structure of government, all of our ministry teams report to the Pastor who reports to the Advisory Team.
The Advisory Team meets once a month to review financials, the goals of the church and vote on any needed items. Members of the Advisory Team are selected by the Nominations Team and voted into position by the church body for 3 year terms.
It is our goal to have a diverse group of individuals.
