Pastor Carmen joined us here at Auburn UMC in July of 2022. She has a passion for leading people to Christ and then helping to equip them for the journey of faith that the Lord has called them to. She believes that the Lord has a plan and purpose for each individual and that each person is of great worth. She strives to faithfully teach the Word of God, to love people, and to celebrate the goodness of the Lord in all of life. She also believes that the Lord has called us all to serve Him, regardless of age. So, don’t be surprised when you visit us and see our young people serving in the church next to our older saints. Everyone has a purpose! Pastor Carmen has a heartbeat for missions on the local, state, national, and international level. Joining her in ministry is her husband, their four legged child, a yellow lab, named Caesar, and her mother.
Jenn came to us in the fall of 2013. With degrees in Office Management and Office Administration from Delta College and years of experience management, business accounting, marketing and graphic design not only does Jenn handle all the day to day office tasks she also builds and maintains the church website and Facebook pages, designs promotional materials and does all of our bookkeeping. Jenn says “This is my niche, I was meant to be in this position. I can honestly say, I love my job.” She also enjoys camping and spending time with her family, especially her grand girls. From the Auburn Community, Phyllis joined our staff in 2017 and has faithful been caring for our children since. As Child Care Coordinator, she staffs the nursery for church, Sunday school and other AUMC events. Behind the scenes, Phyllis takes the time to clean all the toys and furniture in the nursery to help stop the spread germs, which has been so important since the COVID outbreak.
