The United Methodist Men group meets on the 3rd Monday of each month, usually in the fellowship hall. They are mission-focused, supporting community agencies such as the St. Andrew’s Society, and they’re the keepers of the Community Garden Project. They also help out with the “One Week, One Street” program and are famous for cooking our Easter Breakfast.
The Community Garden Project is a group of people from the church, both men and women, who plant and tend a huge vegetable garden on the church property. All vegetables we harvest are put in a produce bin by the church’s main entrance to shared with our neighbors at no cost. We just ask that you take only what you can use so others may enjoy and nothing is wasted. Funded and overseen by the UMM.
